Last updated: February 2026

Who we are

This policy applies to Thornveld Systems PTY(LTD), a company registered in South Africa (CIPC registration 2026/108223/07).

What this website collects

Nothing. This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or any mechanism to identify visitors. A single localStorage preference records whether you have dismissed the privacy notice.

We do not run any analytics scripts or tracking code. Cloudflare may collect aggregate traffic metrics at the network edge as part of its hosting service. No personal information is collected, stored, or transmitted by our website.

Email correspondence

If you contact us by email, we process your email address and message content to respond to your enquiry. This is voluntary. Email correspondence is retained for up to 12 months after the enquiry is resolved, then deleted.

Hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes minimal connection-level data (IP addresses) as part of CDN delivery and DDoS protection, governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy. Cloudflare operates servers globally, including outside South Africa. This cross-border processing is permitted under Section 72 of POPIA, as Cloudflare is bound by data processing agreements that provide an adequate level of protection for personal information.

Your rights

Under POPIA, you have the right to ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access to it, request correction or deletion, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. Contact our Information Officer at support@thornveldsystems.com (free of charge). We will respond within 30 days.

For this website, we hold no personal information about visitors. The only personal data we may hold is email correspondence you have sent us.

Information Regulator

If you are not satisfied with our response, contact the South African Information Regulator:

Software products

This policy covers this website only. Our software products (including Dopamizer) will have their own privacy policies covering data collection, account management, and end-to-end encryption. These will be available on each product's website before launch.
