Personal information we process
This website does not collect personal information from visitors. We do not run any analytics scripts or tracking code. Cloudflare may collect aggregate traffic metrics at the network edge as part of its hosting service.
The only personal information we process is email correspondence from people who contact us directly. This is voluntary.
Purpose and lawful basis
- Website delivery and security: Cloudflare processes connection data (IP addresses) based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Section 11(1)(f)).
- Responding to enquiries: based on consent implied by you initiating the correspondence (Section 11(1)(a)).
Your rights under POPIA
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Confirmation (Section 23): ask whether we hold personal information about you.
- Access (Section 23): request a copy of what we hold.
- Correction (Section 24): request correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion (Section 24): request deletion where we have no lawful reason to keep it.
- Objection (Section 11(3)): object to processing on reasonable grounds.
- Complaint (Section 74): lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
How to exercise your rights
Contact our Information Officer at support@thornveldsystems.com (free of charge). You do not need a specific form. We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and respond in full within 30 days.
If we refuse a request, we will give you written reasons and inform you of your right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
